RETOURNS 

In the event of a return, the buyer is obliged to bear the costs of the return. Please refrain from returning items to us freight collect, as this will result in considerable additional costs. If you return an item carriage forward and you have to bear the direct costs of the return, we will have to charge you for this.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns that do not comply with the following guidelines. 

This includes 
  • products whose seal has been opened 
  • that have been used - for used cosmetics, the right of cancellation is excluded for reasons of hygiene 
  • whose labels have been altered or pasted over 
  • which have been filled 
  • which have holes or have been damaged that are not returned in full (e.g. components of a set) 
  • that are part of a promotion for which a certain purchase value had to be reached 

Returned items with any of the items listed will be returned to the customer at their expense. 

The refund of card payments can take up to ten working days, depending on the bank's processing time. This period may vary depending on the bank or card issuer. Unfortunately, we cannot influence this process. Payment refunds via PayPal are available immediately. 

If we have to bear the costs of the return shipment, the refund of the return postage paid by you will be made immediately.

DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS 

The statutory liability for defects applies

a) Have you received a damaged item? 

Please send us a picture of the damaged item to contact@skinniecosmetics.com. As soon as we have received the proof, we will process your request and refund the item or send you a new undamaged item.

b) Have you received a faulty item?

We classify goods as faulty if you discover a manufacturing fault within 30 days of purchase. Items are not classed as faulty if the condition has been caused by expected wear and tear. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any responsibility in this case. If you discover a defect within 30 days of receipt of the goods, please contact us directly by email at contact@skinniecosmetics.com

Returns due to transport damage or loss

If the delivered item has been visibly damaged in transit (especially if the outer packaging is damaged, such as crushed, torn, soaked or visibly re-glued packaging) or if components of the delivery have been lost or stolen in transit, please return the item(s) to us in the damaged outer packaging if possible, if necessary using additional outer packaging or using the original outer packaging resealed by you.

If you have received confirmation of damage to the consignment from the deliverer, please enclose a copy of this with your return. We also recommend that you take photos of the damaged consignment, if possible.

After checking the facts of the case, we will immediately send you the damaged item(s) again free of charge and reimburse you for the shipping costs incurred for the return. 

Return due to incorrect delivery 

If we have inadvertently sent you an item that you did not order or an item that you ordered in the wrong version, please return only the item(s) that were delivered incorrectly. You will immediately receive the correct item free of charge and the shipping costs incurred for the return will be refunded. 

The following applies to consumers based in Switzerland: 

They should, as soon as it is feasible in the normal course of business, check the condition of the item received and, if defects are found for which the seller is liable, notify the seller immediately. If the consumer fails to do so, the purchased item shall be deemed to have been approved unless the defects were not recognisable during the normal inspection. 

If such defects are discovered later, the notification must be made immediately after discovery, otherwise the item is also deemed to be approved with regard to these defects. Send the defective product back to us with a description of the defect. You shall bear the transport costs incurred. We provide a warranty by rectifying defects. This is done at our discretion either by rectifying the defect (subsequent improvement) or by delivering a defect-free item (replacement delivery). If the subsequent fulfilment fails, you are entitled to withdraw from the contract.
